We're hiring our first Organizing Assistant to help us scale our operations, while training you in the craft of professional organizing from one of central Texas' leading organizers.

If you've ever stepped into a beautifully organized space and thought “I’d love to create that” — this is where you begin.

Grow with us from day one.

At LRO, we transform how our clients live — designing elegant, organized spaces at the intersection of design and function. As we grow, we're welcoming our first Organizing Assistant to grow with us.

01 — The Opportunity

Whether you bring a little organizing experience or you're starting fresh, you'll add real value from day one.

Plus, you'll be learning the craft of organizing hands-on — with the opportunity to advance to an Organizer role within our team as we continue to grow.

No two projects are alike.

But your work will generally span four areas of focus.

02 — A Day in the Role

Admin & Systems

  • Keep client records tidy and consistent in our project tools

  • Log receipts and update project budget trackers

Prep & Logistics

  • Pick up, transport, and stage materials for upcoming projects

  • Manage end-of-project returns

  • Coordinate outside vendors (such as trash or bulk pickup)

  • Maintain project details and scheduling

On-site Project Support

Directly support the Lead Organizer on site:

  • Pull everything from a space and organize it into categories so nothing's overlooked

  • Clean drawers, cabinets, and surfaces so everything returns to a fresh start

  • Fold garments, align and match hangers, and color-coordinate and group items with care

  • Bring the finishing touches: labels, drawer-divider details, and the final styling that makes a space sing

  • Remove packaging and stage the space beautifully for the client walkthrough

Photography & Content

  • Capture compelling before-and-after photography that showcases the transformation in our marketing and on social

  • Help shape our social media — post and reel concepts, copy, and a consistent content calendar

  • Curate and organize project photos into our asset library

The right eye, the right attitude.

  • Detail-devoted. You understand that in this work, the details are the product — a crooked label or a mismatched hanger is something you simply can't leave alone.

03 — Who You Are

  • A creative eye. You have natural aesthetic sensibility and can capture clean, compelling before-and-after photography polished enough for our marketing and social media.
  • Quietly capable with the admin side. You're comfortable with spreadsheets and simple tools, and you keep things accurate and organized.
  • Reliable and self-directed. You show up, follow through, and take ownership of your work.
  • Hands-on. Happy on your feet, lifting and carrying materials, and working actively throughout a project.
  • Discreet and professional in our clients' homes.
  • Eager to grow into a professional organizer.
  • Logistically equipped. Reliable vehicle and valid license (you'll run material pickups, transport, and returns), and based in or around Austin.

No formal organizing experience is required — a little is a plus, but the right eye and the right attitude matter most.

The essentials.
